JAMK field visit On 31 March 2022 to NIFAD Tashkent Uzbekistan
On 31 March 2022, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Heikki Pusa, director and project coordinator of the Centre for Global Education Services at JAMK University of Finland, and professors and lecturers from JAMK University Kreus Pia, Heidi Luck and Eliisa Suni visited NIFAD as part of the MUSAE project’s field trip. The guests were warmly welcomed by Rector Abbosjon Mirzorakhimov, Project Coordinator H. Kaitarov, participants S. Zakirova, U. Zununova, and international department officer Feruz Sayfuddinov. The meeting resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kamoliddin Behzod NIFADI and JAMK University of Finland.
There was an interaction between the participants of the individual project. Kreus Pia received information from J. Rashidov, S. Zakirova, U. Zununova, and O. Kasimov who participated in the Pia WP2 online sessions on the extent to which the training materials of these sessions were communicated to students. A discussion took place on the creation of curricula for newly developed subjects, the assignment of a number of credits, and for which subjects. The partners also got a glimpse of the student's work in the lab set up for the business incubator.
Finnish partners attended Multiple Classes during their field visit including:
1- the classes of Associate Professor Kasimov O.
2- the classes Associate Professor Kuryazov U.
3- the classes Associate Professor Nuritdinov M.
4- the classes Associate Professor Fakhrutdinov Z. and held a conversation with students.
The guests from JAMK university were welcomed by Mrs D. Kurbanova, Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation of the NIFAD institute, who briefed them on the scientific work of the institute. Heidi Luck, the lecturer at JAMK University's business school, explained how they implement arts entrepreneurship. D. Kurbanova invited guests to the Museum of History of Uzbekistan and arranged for a visit.
